The Throsby Creek Oenological Phalanx have released a mobile application into the Apple AppStore.

The application which is designed for mobile iOS devices has the latest tasting notes for all wines that we have consumed since 1991. There are also entries on the lates wines tasted as well as any blog entries.

For this years Wine of the Year Award the Throsby Creek Oenological Phalanx headed down to Yarra Valley in Victoria. What a great weekend it was!

Tyrrell's Wines Vat 8 has won the prestigious 2011 Throsby Creek Oenological Phalanx Wine of the Year presented at Oakridge in the Yarra Valley .
It also won the red wine of the year. The White Wine of the Year was won by the d'Arenberg 'The Lucky Lizard' Chardonnay.

A new website displaying the weather for Merewether in Newcastle has been launched recently.

The Scarborough Chardonnay Blue Label has taken out the 2010 Throsby Creek Oenological Phalanx Wine of the Year Award.

The 2008 Scarborough Chardonnay presented by Lee-Anne and Michael also won the White Wine of the Year Award closely followed by the beautiful 2007 Penna Lane Riesling.

The Red Wine of the Year was won by the 2006

A recent rumour has been circulating that the Sydney Good Food and Wine Show is threatened with cancellation because it will conflict with the Throsby Creek Oenological Phalanx Wine of the Year Awards for 2010.

The Throsby Creek Awards will be held on Saturday 17th of July at 'The Shed' and it is believed that media attention and the internet
