2016 Wine of the Year Awards and 25th Anniversary

The 2016 Wine of the Year Awards was also the 25th Anniversary of the Throsby Creek Oenological Phalanx. Awesomely hosted by Lee-Anne and Michael, it was a big one - very much a silver anniversary celebration.

The details of such a big night are quite murky but the big awards were as follows:

• Wine of the Year - 2012 Wallington Cabernets - served by Lee-Anne and Michael
• Red Wine of the Year - 2012 Wallington Cabernets - served by Lee-Anne and Michael
• White Wine of the Year - Scarborough White Label Chardonnay 2011 - also Lee-Anne and Michael
• Sparkling of the Year - Augusti Torella Mata Cava 2009 - Pete and Sean
• Host of the Year went to Chris and Manny for the Jungle and Firepit Spectacular.

Well done everyone and it was a great night!
