The 2013 Meerea Park Shiraz has won our 2017 Wine of the Year.  Supplied by Campbell and Sally this little ripper hit all of our criteria providing brilliant value for money and a great drop.

You can pick up the current vintage from Meerea Park for about $20 which is excellent value. It also won our Red Wine of the Year.

Special thanks for Garth Eather, from Meerea Park, for sourcing the last few bottles of the 2013 AND dropping them off to us for our awards dinner. What a legend in many ways. Thanks Garth.

Another bargin wine, 2014 Domaines Austruc Chardonnay, was a close runner up and took out the White Wine of the Year. It was served by Megan.

The Sparkling of the Year was the Teusner MC Sparkling Shiraz, served by Adrian and Sonia. It was bought by Adrian at a cracker half-price but can be picked up for about $45 a bottle.

The Awards Night was awesomely hosted by Manny and Chris who opened their house and put on a sensational show. Thanks so much for all the effort!
